what we do

Georgia Mobile Audiology aims to reduce health disparities throughout Georgia by bringing audiological services to families. By traveling to children and families in need of quality audiological care, we aim to eliminate barriers to effective intervention so every child will have equal opportunities. By providing diagnostic services to families free-of-charge, we are able to alleviate financial burdens that create barriers to timely care.

Services we provide:

  • Newborn Hearing Screening Follow-up

  • Diagnostic Non-sedated Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Evaluations

  • Diagnostic Behavioral Testing

  • Hearing Aid Management

  • Family Education

  • Community Outreach

  • Care Coordination

  • Consultative Services to School Systems and Audiologists

Our Mission

To improve language and literacy outcomes for d/Deaf and hard of hearing children living in Georgia by educating parents and providers about the impact hearing loss, performing diagnostic audiological testing and empowering parents to create a language-rich home.

Our Goals

  • To ensure families have equal access to audiological services no matter where they live in Georgia

  • To ensure the overall rate of children lost to follow-up goes down and does not disproportionately affect children in rural areas

  • To ensure d/Deaf and hard of hearing children in Georgia achieve age appropriate language and literacy skills

  • To ensure school-aged children receive timely ongoing care and management
